Rob brings over 45 years of experience in the electronics industry, having built a distinguished career marked by deep operational expertise and a commitment to team development. He began his journey as Production Manager at Ericsson Australia, where he gained early exposure to complex manufacturing environments. To expand his technical acumen, Rob spent time in Sweden studying multilayer manufacturing techniques, later spearheading the successful implementation of these processes back in Australia.
Currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Precision Melbourne, Rob oversees assembly operations across Australia and Hong Kong, ensuring seamless coordination between international teams. His hands-on leadership style fosters operational excellence while maintaining a sharp focus on quality and efficiency.
Rob is a firm believer in building strong, collaborative relationships with both local and international suppliers, recognizing that mutual growth is key to long-term success. He also champions a family-oriented workplace culture, where every employee is empowered to contribute to decision-making processes.
As COO, Rob plays a critical role on the executive leadership team, working directly with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives, streamline operations, and ensure the company’s infrastructure can scale with growth.
