Joe Hernandez is the CEO and Chair of Precision Electronic Technologies, where he has led the organisation for more than 25 years through sustained growth, transformation, and industry leadership. With a career spanning PCB design, PCB manufacturing, assembly, operations, and sales, Joe brings a rare end-to-end understanding of the electronics manufacturing value chain. His earlier roles at Precision, including Operations Manager and Sales Manager, give him deep insight into every part of the business he now leads.

A strong believer in excellence and the Australian Business Excellence Framework (ABEF), Joe has championed Precision’s continuous improvement culture for many years. Under his leadership, Precision has become one of Australia’s most trusted contract electronic manufacturers, recognised for quality, customer partnership, and operational reliability. Precision’s achievements were formally acknowledged with the prestigious BEA Gold Award in 2022, leading to Joe’s invitation to speak at the Second Global Excellence Conference in Beijing in 2023, representing Australia on the global stage.

As CEO and Chair, Joe is driving Precision’s next phase of evolution through five strategic imperatives, while also overseeing the global expansion of Precision Circuits, the company’s PCB brokerage arm.

Joe is passionate about developing people and building a high-performing, empowered culture. Born in France, he speaks fluent French and is a lifelong sports enthusiast, supporting the Richmond Tigers (AFL), Melbourne Storm (NRL), and Manchester United (EPL).
